I wore this to a friend's wedding recently and just now realized that I was head to toe dressed in Asos. It is by far, one of my favorite go-to online shops. There are so many cute options to choose from which, sometimes, is really bad for your wallet. I usually save everything I love in my cart (stays in there for 60 days, I believe) until the items go on sale.
Do you have a favorite go-to online shopping site?

Some of you have already known by now that I love dresses with fun prints and feminine silhouettes (hence, the blog title!). As the colder months come creeping in, I try to incorporate my summer dresses into my fall and winter wardrobes. I was so excited to receive this fun and colorful cover-up from JORDAN TAYLOR a while back. With fall in full swing, I thought it would be fun to turn this cute beach cover-up into a dress by adding a  black tank dress inside with a bomber style jacket and my super comfortable Sam Edelman riding boots. While this combination is no rocket science, it totally works for the colder months and I get more use out of my summer pieces. I cannot wait until it is warm again so I can take this cover-up to the pools and beaches.

With daylight savings in full effect, it is going to be much harder to take any pictures after work unless I am going for the night time result (which I don't plan on doing). Will have to try to take advantage of the short amount of sunlight left after work hours or more outfit shots in the weekend.

This is usually my go-to type of outfits for both work and weekend outings, when I feel like I have nothing else to wear. Skinny jeans/trousers, silky blouse, and some heels/flats. Comfortable and easy to put together in a short amount of time.
What are your go-to outfits?

It was finally chilly enough to throw on my new leather jacket. I decided to pair it with this cute girly lace dress I purchased a while back. I was not sure how it would look together or if it would look right on me, but I thought it turned out decent enough. Halloween is right around the corner so I hope you'll all have a fun and safe night!

Hello! It feels like it has been so long since my last post. Life has kept me super busy lately with work, family, friends, and TRYING to train for my first ever Chevron Houston Marathon in January! The weather here in Houston has been awesome. Warm in the daytime and chilly at night just like wonderful California weather, which makes it so much easier to run. Also, still nice and warm enough to wear outfits like this one.
I hope you all have a great weekend up ahead and thanks for reading!

Vacation is over, it's now back to the daily grind. I am in complete post-vacation blues. The Fontainebleau Resort was amazing and we'll definitely be back.

Wore this outfit to a wedding a week before I left for Miami. The black and white color schemes give a rich feel to such a simple outfit. The bandage materials combined with the skater style skirt provide a more flattering look for girls like me who does not have alot of curves.

Everyone should have a little black dress hanging somewhere in their closet. Sometimes, when you feel like the color black is too boring or mundane, you can always throw on a simple little red or pink dress like this H&M dress I purchased a few seasons ago. The style is simple and classic with a bright pop of color and can easily be transitioned from summer to fall with a few changes in accessories.

I recently attended a good friend's bridal shower and had decided on wearing this outfit. However, after a not-so-quick last minute trip to the mall to find her a gift (yes, I am one of those procrastinators!) it just got too hot, so I took a detour home and changed into this Zara tank, but did not have any more time to snap pictures.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I am really loving the laser cut trend. I was doing some shopping online about a month ago and decided to google in laser cut top, skirt, and shoes. The results? I ended up doing some damage to my wallet and purchased those Asos shoes, this skirt, another skirt with similar details, and a few other tidbits for a pretty good deal.

A super simple outfit today and so ready for the weekend. Once again, I'm wearing my go-to shorts with a simple white blouse with very cute laced hem detailing. I paired this basic outfit with a pop of neon pink and these adorable mint green laser cut ballet flats I purchased from Asos about a month ago. I think I may have a slight obsession for laser cut details.
I hope you all have a fun and safe weekend!
