Time Flies

Dress: Anthropologie (similar) / Purse: Loeffler Randall / Shoes: Asos / Necklace: Baublebar

Happy April Fool's Day!
Is it really April already???

It may be Spring but the weather is feeling like summer here already. I'm happy that I can just throw on a dress and go. I bought this dress from Anthropologie last year during their summer sale and it's just been sitting in my closet almost forgotten about. I just love the fun tribal print and the fit is so flattering on all body types and I'm so glad I didn't pass up on it. It was the perfect spring dress to throw on for my close friend's baby shower this past weekend.

I hope you guys have a happy Wednesday and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Glossy

Coat: Asos / Top: Anthropologie (old) (similar) / Skirt: Piperlime / Shoes: Matiko / Purse: Rebecca
Minkoff / Sunglasses: Prada / Belt: Madewell / Necklaces: Baublebar & 9thandElm / Bracelets: Baublebar & Henri Bendel

Everyone loves a great deal. As in my case with this skirt.

I purchased it from Piperlime during all the crazy Christmas sales. It is just another simple skater style skirt, but at the price of under $20, well, I couldn't resist adding it to my cart. The style is a little poofier than the usual skater style I'm used to, but adding a belt helps a lot and it also gives the outfit more of a casual vibe. It doesn't hurt that the skirt has a glossy finish with embellishments either!

The weather was perfect all weekend long. It was still cold but the sun was out, so was everyone else. It's just nice to see all the kids outside playing and everything looking livelier.

With daylight savings in full effect, it is going to be much harder to take any pictures after work unless I am going for the night time result (which I don't plan on doing). Will have to try to take advantage of the short amount of sunlight left after work hours or more outfit shots in the weekend.

This is usually my go-to type of outfits for both work and weekend outings, when I feel like I have nothing else to wear. Skinny jeans/trousers, silky blouse, and some heels/flats. Comfortable and easy to put together in a short amount of time.
What are your go-to outfits?
