I finally did it.
After months of contemplating on chopping off my locks, I finally took the plunge. I am having a love/hate relationship with my new do. Some days, with the crazy heat, it feels so nice to have less weight on my head. Other days, I miss the lesser maintenance that comes with long hair (I actually have to straighten it everyday now to keep my hair from looking like a mushroom. I know, I know, it's just the lazy me whining). Perhaps it just needs some getting used to. It's been a long time since I've had it this short.
The summer heat is slowly creeping up on us Houstonians. This outfit is something I wear often in the summer months. It's light and simple for a day full of errands and still put together for a dinner and movie kind of night.
