The weather here has been so dreary lately. I am hoping these colorful walls will brighten up my day as well as yours. And yes, I am obsessed with these OTK boots.

It's starting to finally feel like Autumn and I am enjoying every moment of it. I just thought this emerald top paired with my faux leather midi skirt would be the perfect outfit for the cooler temperature.

Happy Tuesday and as always, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Tuesday, my lovelies!
Is it bad that I am already looking forward to the weekend?
We usually try to make the most of our weekends by exploring our own city if we have free time. I've lived in Houston almost all of my life and there are still so many places we have yet to explore. It's really nice so see all the street arts that's been popping up around here the past couple of years. Fun to see and makes for great photo backdrop!

I think I've been having a little love affair with midi dresses lately. I've actually just purchased a few more and with this dress pictured, you know I can't resist a little bit of the low back detail!

School is starting and Summer is coming to an end. Fall fashion is already everywhere but I'm not ready to let go of summer yet. Plus, Texas Summer lasts forever!
I got this dress around Spring time and I actually found it through Amazon, while shopping for something completely non fashion related. It has all three things that I love in a dress. The drop waist style, the low cut on the sides, and it's in my favorite color, blue.
It is a great staple for a summer dress and come Fall, throw on a leather jacket and its all good!

Thank you so much as always for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Hello Tuesday!

Summer is on full speed right now and it's been so hard to take outfit photos outside without getting drenched by your own sweat (TMI?). This super soft tee from Triple Thread Co was the perfect top to throw on for a hot summer day/night. I actually wore it all weekend long with both jeans and skirts. A nice, soft tee is such a great staple every girl should have in her closet.

Summer Short Story

Summer is definitely here and I would not wish this Houston heat and humidity on my worst enemy! Dresses and shorts are usually my wardrobe choices for this season. Since there is nothing groundbreaking about wearing a pair of shorts and loose top, I try to liven it up with a bright color here and there.

What are your wardrobe choices for Summer?

What's Old Becomes New

Yay....it's almost the weekend again!

These pictures were actually taken last Sunday as we stroll around the city and found some colorful wall arts. We also stopped by to look at Bethel Park located in the Fourth Ward area of Houston. This hidden gem was once a Baptist church until it got burned down in 2005. What remains after the fire is now preserved as a city park and it is pretty amazing!

With summer beating down so quickly, I found this outfit hidden in my closet while sorting out all my clothes for donations. The top and shorts were worn so often last year but have since been forgotten and I don't know why. This reminds me that I need to shop my closet more because often, what's old becomes new again.

Thank you for stopping by as always and enjoy the weekend!

Happy Thursday!

Visited Arizona for the first time this past Memorial Day weekend. I must say, Arizona is very beautiful and so clean. We left the rainy Houston weather and arrived at cool, sunny Arizona. From Phoenix, we drove to Sedona, a must visit if you are ever in Arizona. Sedona is beautiful with so many gorgeous red sandstone formations. There are so many activities one can choose to do in Sedona (hiking, biking, etc.) and there situates a cute little village with lots of shops and restaurants. If you don't mind a little 2 mile hike uphill, Devil's Bridge is so worth it for the amazing view of all the red rocks.

We also visited the Grand Canyon for the first time. For those that told us the Grand Canyon is over-rated, they lied. It is something you should see at least once in your lifetime. I can now check it off of my bucket list!

And of course I couldn't leave Arizona without finding some cacti to take pictures with first. The Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix has all the succulents your heart desires!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
