Chasing Sunset

Coat: J Crew Factory / Dress: Vince via Lyon and Post / Purse: Celine / Boots: Old (similar) / Necklace: Baublebar

We made a little impromptu trip to Galveston this past weekend. I love the beach no matter what the season is. I actually had the perfect little spot in mind to watch the sunset but sadly as we arrived, our hidden spot was being torn down! With little time left and quickly running out of sunlight we decided to make a pit stop at this jetty. If I had known, I would have brought different shoes. This should teach me next time to always be prepared for the inevitable.

Thank you as always for stopping by and have a great week!

Metropolis

We were in Dallas last weekend for a family wedding. It pretty much rained 85% of the time there but we did manage to take some time out to explore the city. Despite the rain (which cut our exploring time short), the city of Dallas is so pretty. I love the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. It is the perfect weekend spot for a little jog along the bridge or for families and friends to hang out at. Too bad about halfway across the  bridge, it started pouring down hard so we made a beeline back to our car for cover. Hopefully next time we take a trip to Dallas, we will have more dry and sunny days to explore the city.

On another note, it looks like Houston will be having a very warm Thanksgiving. I don't think I mind too much. I've spent more time hibernating during these cold days than being active.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving!

Love Affair

Dress: Forever 21 (similar) / Purse: Saint Laurent / Shoes: Forever 21 / Necklaces: Baublebar & Gorjana c/o Rocksbox (try out with first month free with code 'quynhttranxoxo') / Cuffs: Baublebar

Happy Tuesday, my lovelies!
Is it bad that I am already looking forward to the weekend?
We usually try to make the most of our weekends by exploring our own city if we have free time. I've lived in Houston almost all of my life and there are still so many places we have yet to explore. It's really nice so see all the street arts that's been popping up around here the past couple of years. Fun to see and makes for great photo backdrop!

I think I've been having a little love affair with midi dresses lately. I've actually just purchased a few more and with this dress pictured, you know I can't resist a little bit of the low back detail!

Tropical

Dress: Lulu's / Purse: Saint Laurent / Shoes: Lulu's / Cuff: Baublebar

Helloooooo Monday!
Seriously, how can it be August already?!
I cannot believe Summer is slowly creeping away.
The bright tropical print on this dress makes me feel like I am ready for another tropical vacation. I love the happy tropical prints and subtle side cutouts on both sides of the dress. It gives this little shift dress a more fun personality.
