The Not So Secret Garden

Trench Coat: Zara Kids / Dress: Keepsake The Label / Purse: Coach (orange) / Shoes: Asos (similar, similar) / Necklace: Baublebar (similar) / Cuff: Henri Bendel

Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing Valentine's Weekend spent with the ones you love.

Growing up, one of my favorite movies of all time was The Secret Garden. I always imagined one day I'll get to live in a pretty house with a garden reminiscing the one in the film. One could dream, right?
Well, it was Valentine's Day and we celebrated it the traditional (cliché) way. We visited a cute garden (Bayou Bend Gardens & Collections) followed by a nice dinner with some close friends. The garden is situated right behind The Houston's Museum of Fine Arts. Because it's still winter, blooming flowers were pretty much non-existent, but all the lush greens still made for a nice photo opp. We will have to make another visit in the Springtime to see all the flowers blooming.

Pre V-Day

Dress: Juicy Couture (similar) / Purse: Rebecca Minkoff / Shoes: Sam Edelman / Necklaces: c/o 9thandElm & Baublebar / Bracelet: Stella and Dot / Ring: Asos

This old Juicy Couture dress is still one of my favorites hanging in my closet. The floral print could actually work for any season and the wrap dress style keeps it classic for many seasons to come. It also made a great Pre-Valentine's Day outfit.
Do you have any special plans for Valentine's Day?

I may or may not have worn this dress consistently for the past few weekends. :)

I am so glad I did not pass up on purchasing this dress. I initially saw it being worn on a mannequin in Juicy Couture's storefront window and thought I'd try it on for fun. After some contemplation, I put it back on the rack where I found it and went on my merry way since, do I really need another floral dress? Thirty minutes later (probably not even that long) I came back and got it since I couldn't stop thinking about it and it was 50% off! I'm glad I did because I love it and it's so comfortable.

And this clutch.

When I saw this Botkier Honore clutch on Hautelook with a front strap, I knew it had to be mine. I love this sample sale website. They have items from different designers everyday at a great price.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day so I hope you will get to spend it with the one(s) you love!

With Valentine's day right around the corner, a fun and flirty dress is the way to go for me. I paired this super feminine off the shoulder dress I purchased from Nasty Gal during one of their crazy sales with my new favorite statement necklace from Baublebar. I kept my accessories to a minimal since there is already so much going on.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Tuesday!
