New Outlook

Leather Jacket: Muubaa / Dress: Asos / Purse: Chloe / Shoes: Steve Madden / Necklace: Kendra Scott

Happy Monday!
I hope you guys enjoyed your long Christmas break with all your loved ones.
It feels great knowing that this week will be another short work week.
I'm excited to celebrate New Year's Eve (still haven't found a dress) but sad at the same time that this year is almost over with. The quote on the mural above is a good one that I will remind myself every day for the upcoming new year.

How will you be celebrating New Year's Eve?

Mellow Yellow

I usually don't prefer wearing yellow against my skin tone but when I saw this flowy floral shirt, I had to get it. It's just one of those comfortable, throw on and go, shirts. Though a very simple look, it's the perfect combo for a day full of walking and exploring. And yes, I feel like these boots are glued to my legs. They have been getting so much use, it might be time to purchase another pair.

Bright Florals, Grey Day

Leather Jacket: Muubaa / Dress: Asos / Shoes: Sam Edelman (black) / Purse: Loeffler Randall (periwinkle) / Necklace: Rocksbox

I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend.
I know I sure did and so sad that it went by too quickly. At least now, there is Christmas to look forward to!

Swing of Things

Despite all the rain, the mild, cool weather has been so pleasant lately. I wish we could have this weather all year round. This is one of my go-to outfits. It's put together while not looking too overdressed. I love these over the knee boots I was so hesitant about at first. Initially, I wasn't too sure if it would really look good on me but, they really go with everything! I am already wanting another pair in a different color. Burgundy, perhaps?

Florals

Dress: Asos / Purse: Chloe / Sandals: Steve Madden / Jewelry c/o Rocksbox

That little hint of Fall weather disappeared pretty quickly here in Texas. No complaints here though since I can get more use out of my summer dresses and sandals. Here is another shift dress that is so comfortable to wear and would make such a great transitional piece once the weather starts to cool down again.

Happy Tuesday, my lovelies and thank you for stopping by!

Woodland

Dress: Topshop / Purse: Ted Baker / Sandals: Joie (similar, similar) / Necklace: Gorjana / Bracelet: Baublebar

Hope everyone is having a great week so far.
I am already looking forward to Labor Day Weekend!
This Topshop dress has been on my mind every time I stopped by it's section at Nordstrom, but could not take the plunge every time I look at the price tag. I finally decided to just buy it (justifying it'll get a lot of wear) after stalking it for so long and keep re-trying it on in the fitting rooms. So far, I don't regret it. The light, silky fabric is perfect for this 100+ degree weather we've been experiencing and the side details are beautiful! The midi style cuts at the perfect length so I don't look as short as I do with some of the other midi dresses I have tried on. Overall, it's just the perfect summer dress for the weekend festivities and for all those last minute summer trips.

Spring Flowers

Top: Forever 21 (old) (love this)  / Skirt: Asos (similar, similar) / Purse: Loeffler Randall / Sandals: Just Fab (old) (similar) / Necklace: Baublebar / Cuffs: Lulu's & Baublebar

Happy Thursday you guys.
We are so close to the weekend!
Seeing that it's Spring, and I've been wearing so much white and neutrals lately, I thought I should wear something a little brighter this time. With all the blooming flowers around, I decided to put on my floral midi skirt, which is super girly and fun.
I would say floral print is still one of my favorite trends for Spring. What is yours?
