Spring, my favorite season of the year. It brings increasing daylight, warmer temperature, and the arrival of fresh, colorful blooms everywhere. It is also the season where I consume the most tissue boxes, because my allergies come in at full force. It is a small price to pay to enjoy some wonderful weather until we are hit with the sweltering heat summer will bring.

Attended a wedding this weekend and decided to wear a black dress for once. For someone who loves bright colours, I don't have too many black dresses hanging in my closet. The intricate velvet detailing combined with the partially exposed mesh back make this LBD a little bit more fun!

I may or may not have worn this dress consistently for the past few weekends. :)

 

I am so glad I did not pass up on purchasing this dress. I initially saw it being worn on a mannequin in Juicy Couture's storefront window and thought I'd try it on for fun. After some contemplation, I put it back on the rack where I found it and went on my merry way since, do I really need another floral dress? Thirty minutes later (probably not even that long) I came back and got it since I couldn't stop thinking about it and it was 50% off! I'm glad I did because I love it and it's so comfortable.

 

And this clutch.

 

When I saw this Botkier Honore clutch on Hautelook with a front strap, I knew it had to be mine. I love this sample sale website. They have items from different designers everyday at a great price.

 

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day so I hope you will get to spend it with the one(s) you love!

 I hope you all had an amazing weekend! This is what a typical fall outfit looks like for me. A comfy sweater, jeggings(I don't own too many pairs of jeans), a comfy pair of riding boots, and a light jacket for the colder days. We don't have that many freezing cold days here, so there's no need to stock up on too many thick sweaters and jackets.
