So I told myself, no more white dresses. You have enough. Yet, here I am buying another white dress. I just can't seem to stay away. I justified my purchase because this one has the button down and the fun drop waist details that I love. In the end, I figured, why not? It's a light, easy-to-throw-on dress that will be perfect for the nice spring weather and the hot summer months. People are always saying every girl needs a LBD in their closet. I say we all need a LWD in our closet, or two, or three. :)

A hot, almost-summer day calls for wild and crazy floral printed pants! These silky, loose fitting pants are perfect for the summer months. I also wore it a lot on my previous trip to the Dominican Republic and got a few compliments from strangers. It is so comfortable and light, it feels like wearing pajamas pants.

 As a self proclaimed lace lover, (yes, some may borderline on looking like a table cloth) Dolce Vita has been pretty on point lately with all of their summer styles (not just shoes). I find myself constantly browsing their website looking for new deals or finding sales through other sites such as, Revolve Clothing or Nasty Gal. This Kamala neon tank was one of the deals I scored while doing some online shopping. It is so light and airy for the summer months and just so pretty adorned with all the neon lace details.

Where has the whole month of May gone?

 

Though summer does not officially start for a few more weeks, the Houston heat wave has begun. Wore this little number I scored at Forever 21 out for a nice dinner and it was just what I needed for a warm night in Houston. When I saw this dress online, the silky fabric along with all the see through mesh details got me worried it'll look like a straight up lingerie piece. In person (still a little bit lingerie-ish), It was much nicer than expected and perfect for a warm summer night. Since I am in almost all black, I decided to spice it up a bit with my new, extremely bright acid yellow bag I recently purchased from Rebecca Minkoff. I love this bright color for summer even though it does attract a lot of attention.

Happy Wednesday! Half of the week has gone by which means the weekend is coming closer. We don't really have any big plans for the coming weekend except to sit back and enjoy some much needed R&R and perhaps catch a movie and dinner.

 

It has been so miserably hot here in Texas, so shorts and light dresses are definitely a must have. It is true when they say all fashion trends recycle. I have not worn cut off shorts since high school (It's been a while). I really love the cut and shape of the One Teaspoon shorts. They are shorter in the front which helps gives the illusion of longer legs and a longer length in the back for more backside coverage. These shorts are definitely a little bit more expensive than what I usually spend on shorts in the past but I would definitely recommend it.

 

As you can see my love for neon colors continue throughout summer, I paired the shorts with this blouse I scored at Forever21 a few months ago and my neon pink Michael Kors bag. When I saw this bag online, I knew I had to have it but unfortunately, it was completely sold out online. I decided to try the Michael Kors store in the Galleria Mall near my house and there it was! One left in this color. The Saffiano leather of this bag is very much like the Prada bags but 1/10 of the price and the style is a bit Celine-esque.
