Embroidered

Jacket: c/o Shein / Top: Zara (old) / Jeans: Zara / Bag: Phillip Lim / Shoes: Steve Madden / Bow Necklace: Rocksbox

Happy Monday!

I've been so excited to wear this adorable embroidered jacket from Shein ever since I received it in the mail. Since the weather dropped about 10 degrees this past weekend, it was a no brainer that this jacket is finally coming out to play. I love everything embroidered so when I saw this jacket, I knew it had to be mine. All the intricate details create such a luxe look to this piece and makes you think it would be way above it's actual price point. I have already added a few more items to my cart since the prices are so affordable and I am extremely happy with the quality of this jacket.

Thank you so much for reading!

What's Old Becomes New

Top: Dolce Vita (similar) / Shorts: Forever 21 (similar) / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli / Heels: Lulu's (similar) / Necklace: J Crew / Sunglasses: Prada / Cuffs: Baublebar & Lulu's /Ring: Wanderlust + Co

Yay....it's almost the weekend again!

These pictures were actually taken last Sunday as we stroll around the city and found some colorful wall arts. We also stopped by to look at Bethel Park located in the Fourth Ward area of Houston. This hidden gem was once a Baptist church until it got burned down in 2005. What remains after the fire is now preserved as a city park and it is pretty amazing!

With summer beating down so quickly, I found this outfit hidden in my closet while sorting out all my clothes for donations. The top and shorts were worn so often last year but have since been forgotten and I don't know why. This reminds me that I need to shop my closet more because often, what's old becomes new again.

Thank you for stopping by as always and enjoy the weekend!

Happy Monday!
The days are just going by so fast I cannot believe it's already almost mid May. Wore this super comfy outfit to run errands all day Saturday and then went to the Garden Center to do some last minute Mother's Day shopping. For some reason, the plants in this little area we walked by in the Garden Center reminds me of Dr. Seuss's Whoville. One of my favorite movies that I have probably seen like over 30 times is 'Horton Hears a Who!'. So I figured it was the perfect spot for a little photo op! After all the errand running and shopping, by 9 p.m, I was pretty much ready to throw in the towel and jump into bed (yes, I'm a grandma!).

Hope you guys had a fun Mother's Day weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Monday!
Today I wanted to share a few of my recent favorites.

I recently received my first Rocksbox and I cannot be more excited!
Rocksbox is a premium jewelry rental service and for $19 a month, you'll get 3 pieces of designer jewelry sent to you, picked by your stylist, based on a style test you take when signing up. You can keep any piece that you love for as long as you'd like or return them after each month to receive 3 new pieces. If you receive a piece that you love so much and cannot get yourself to return it, you can purchase it at a discounted price. The three pieces picked out for me were SPOT ON. They are everything I would have picked out for myself. I am especially obsessed with this Gorjana cuff I received in my Rocksbox, so I think I'll be keeping this cuff for a few more months! I cannot wait to see what will be sent to me next month!
If you want to try it out, you can get your first month free with code "quynhttranxoxo".

This perfect boho top I recently purchased was an amazing find. The color and print combined with the loose, flowy look made for the perfect spring top that I have been loving lately. It also has all these intricate beadings around the neckline that makes it even more special.

Now, these jeans!
I always have trouble finding skinny jeans that fit my legs nicely. If they fit my thighs, they're too loose for my calves. That is until I discovered Zara's super skinny jeans. They actually look like skinny jeans on me and not straight legs. These pairs also have a little bit of distressed details on them which is so on trend this season. I will be making another trip soon to get more!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Change

Top: Forever 21 (purchased in store) / Shorts: One Teaspoon / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim  / Sandals: Forever 21 / Sunglasses: Prada (similar) / Necklaces: Baublebar, Baublebar

As you can see, I decided to go lighter for Spring. I usually play it pretty safe with my hair, so this is the most wildest thing I've done to it in a long, long time. I was getting really bored of my previous hair and it was definitely time for a change. Maybe I'll try a little something more adventurous next time! :)
This past weekend's perfect weather calls for running errands in shorts. My outfit was really simple so I found this fun colorful wall to compliment it.

The Wanderer

Dress: Spell & the Gypsy (similar in romper style) / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim / Sandals: Express / Necklaces: c/o 9thandElm, Baublebar / Bracelets: Baublebar, Henri Bendel

This was a look I actually wore this past Sunday when the weather decided to shift into Spring. I've had this Spell & the Gypsy dress, which I bought for a huge discount during the Shopbop's End of Summer Sale, hanging in my closet for a good five months now waiting for that change in weather. It was nice to have a little taste of Spring weather and I can't wait for more!

By the River

Trench: Zara Kids / Dress: Forever 21 (similar) / Bag: Rebecca Minkoff / Boots: Hunter / Necklace: Baublebar

Happy Tuesday!
We were able to celebrate the Lunar New Year with really nice, cool weather all weekend long. We had some rain here and there on Saturday but nothing major that would spoil the day for anyone. Rain is always a good excuse for the Hunter boots to get some adventure in anyway!

Happy Tuesday!

We had quite a dreary weekend in Houston. We stayed in for the most part, except for Saturday night. We finally decided to put on some decent clothing, turn off the TV, and venture into Downtown Houston for a little bit of shopping and dessert. Our little dessert adventure ended up leading us to the Houston Boat Show nearby where we saw too many boats and RV's that we could not afford. Perhaps with a good, solid 10 year plan, we can afford to buy an RV and build up many great road trip memories in the future (here's to wishful thinking)!
