I am already looking forward to Labor Day Weekend!

This Topshop dress has been on my mind every time I stopped by it's section at Nordstrom, but could not take the plunge every time I look at the price tag. I finally decided to just buy it (justifying it'll get a lot of wear) after stalking it for so long and keep re-trying it on in the fitting rooms. So far, I don't regret it. The light, silky fabric is perfect for this 100+ degree weather we've been experiencing and the side details are beautiful! The midi style cuts at the perfect length so I don't look as short as I do with some of the other midi dresses I have tried on. Overall, it's just the perfect summer dress for the weekend festivities and for all those last minute summer trips.

Lately, I've been all about the easy summer looks. We've been hit with so much rain that it's been extra humid and moist here. Wearing anything with too much fabric will definitely get clingy. I've also received my third Rocksbox and I swear, they really get my style. I love everything so I decided to wear them all at once! 
Also, when Vanessa, a total sweetheart whom I met through Instagram a while back, announced on her blog and Instagram that she's coming out with these charm bracelet sets, I knew I had to get my hands on some.  They're just so cute and go with everything!

One of my essential items for summer will always be the little white dress. From backyard BBQs to a day at the beach, you can never go wrong with a LWD. Though it is not officially summer yet, the temperature sure feels like it. All I've been wearing are shorts and airy dresses like this super cute Free People dress I scored at T.J. Maxx. Just throw on some cute sandals during the day and switch out to heels for nighttime and you are out the door.

I can't tell you how much I am loving the shorts weather right now.  Well, lets see if I'm singing the same tune in the coming months with the beating heat of Summer. I've been on the hunt for cute printed shorts like these boardwalk shorts from J Crew Factory. The fun prints really liven up any outfits and are so comfortable to roam around in for all the warm days ahead. 

Also, my 2nd month of Rocksbox was an even greater success than the first! I loved everything I received and wish I could keep them all but my wallet says no. I ended up purchasing the Wanderlust + Co triple cage ring because I could not bare to let it go.

Visited Arizona for the first time this past Memorial Day weekend. I must say, Arizona is very beautiful and so clean. We left the rainy Houston weather and arrived at cool, sunny Arizona. From Phoenix, we drove to Sedona, a must visit if you are ever in Arizona. Sedona is beautiful with so many gorgeous red sandstone formations. There are so many activities one can choose to do in Sedona (hiking, biking, etc.) and there situates a cute little village with lots of shops and restaurants. If you don't mind a little 2 mile hike uphill, Devil's Bridge is so worth it for the amazing view of all the red rocks. 

We also visited the Grand Canyon for the first time. For those that told us the Grand Canyon is over-rated, they lied. It is something you should see at least once in your lifetime. I can now check it off of my bucket list! 

And of course I couldn't leave Arizona without finding some cacti to take pictures with first. The Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix has all the succulents your heart desires!
